Darcy O’Grady is a seasoned HR Executive, holding Chartered Professional HR designations in Canada and the USA, and is Certified to offer Extended DISC assessments. He has a degree in economics and attended BCIT’s HR curriculum and Harvard’s Executive Leadership Education Program.

Upon university graduation, he was an analyst and then transitioned into Human Resources where his 30-year career led him to responsibility at the Director, Vice-President, Senior Vice-President, and Chief Human Resources Officer level within the high technology, engineering professional services, and life-sciences sectors. This included experience in start-up / early-stage companies helping them globally scale to multinational ventures.

Darcy has been very active in the HR community as a founder of the BC HR Technology Group, a Director of the Chartered Professional Human Resource Association, and a member of the BC Premier’s Technology Counsel championing the “High-Tech” variance to the BC Employment Standards Act. He was the recipient of the CPHR BC Association’s Award for Professional Excellence.
